PPNS Preschool, located in Kailua, serves children ages 3 to 5 and operates on a Year-Round, twelve months schedule.

As a non-profit organization, we are managed by the parents of enrolled children, who work closely with our teachers and administrative staff to create a positive preschool experience.

Our approach at PPNS centers on providing a dynamic, hands-on learning environment driven by intentional and thoughtful teaching. We emphasize play-based learning, encouraging children to explore, inquire, and discover. Through our blended emergent curriculum, which integrates the Hawaii Early Learning and Developmental Standards (HELDS), Creative Curriculum, and NAEYC accreditation standards, we support children’s growth in critical thinking, problem-solving, and interaction with the world around them.

We prioritize social-emotional development, using indirect adult guidance to help children learn to independently resolve challenges and build essential life skills.
