Behavioral Management
Social-emotional development is an essential part of our philosophy. In order to guide children to make appropriate choices, problem-solve and self-regulate, we use methods such as offering choices, redirection and positive reinforcement.
Potty Training
A child must be potty trained to begin at the PPNS. He or she must be able to voice their needs to use the bathroom and come to school wearing underwear – no diapers or pull-ups. Scheduled bathroom visits will be incorporated into the school day to reinforce potty independence. Only teachers and staff may assist children with their bathroom needs.
